Make:able 2025 | Call for Presentations

The Make:able 3D printing and assistive technology challenge supports thousands of students and makers in designing assistive devices for people with disabilities. Each year we add new content into the toolkit, and for the 2025 challenge, one of the big updates will be a series of pre-recorded, on-demand presentations from Make:able partners, sponsors, past-participants, and supporters.

6th September 2024 Make:able

We’re just reaching out to the community today to see if anyone is interested in volunteering their time and expertise to record a presentation for the Make:able Challenge toolkit. This can be anything that might be helpful or inspirational to participants or teachers facilitating students. Here are some examples:

  • How to host a Hackathon
  • Ways to develop empathy for your end user
  • Create a compelling video story for your Make:able submission
  • How to integrate Make:able into the curriculum

Recorded presentations can be created in any software and can use any slide format. High-quality video and audio is preferred, and the presentation length should be around 20-25 minutes. All we’ll require is the MP4 recording before November 1st 2024.

If you are interested in supporting the Make:able Challenge with a pre-recorded presentation, please click the link below and complete the form to register your interest.
