Criteria 1: Product Type

Your product must enhance the experience of an outdoor activity such as hiking, camping, sailing, or any other adventure. The design should be durable, safe to use, and engineered so that if it fails, it does not pose a risk of injury.

Criteria 2: Target Audience

You may design for any outdoor user group, including yourself. This could be solo hikers, families, campers, cyclists, scouts, or people with specific accessibility needs. Make sure your solution clearly considers who it is for and how it supports their outdoor experience.
